Ashley Wertman, DPT, COMT
Ashley Wertman is entering her fourth year as a practicing Doctor of Physical Therapy in the great state of West Virginia. Ashley’s interests include manual therapy, orthopedics, sports medicine and working with athletes. In 2020, she completed course work to receive a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT). Ashley believes that movement is medicine and stands behind a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Ashley graduated from James Madison University in 2006 with a degree in Political Science. After several years of working in the professional world, Ashley decided to seek a different career and began course work to apply for PT school. In 2017, Ashley graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA.
Ashley resides in Shepherdstown, WV with her husband Jon and their two rescue pit bulls. When not at work, Ashley enjoys staying physically active and active within the community, recently becoming a member of the Rotary Club of Shepherdstown.
